I was indeed, and I definitely remember you! Hell of a Korra getup you had, and the makeup job you did was great. I see you're getting some flak from some idiots who don't know what blackfacing is, so just go ahead and tell them that this brown guy's not offended by that at all-- hell, I'll write you up a letter of certification to go dark if you'd like.
Colossalcon's a maybe for me right now, since I may or may not be moving to the west coast in February/March. But if I'm still in Chicago by summer, Colossalcon'll be much easier to get to! Don't have any Adventure Time or YYH costumes planned, but I'm known to do photography as well, so if you need shots of any costumes I'll be more than happy to do that.
Couldn't attend this year. I ended up hospitalized for a while in February, and had to use savings to help with medical and cover costs while I was gone from work. But, hopefully this coming Sakura-con; even if it's just for a day. My sister lives not too far out from Seattle, so I could easily make it for just Saturday, provided all goes well. If I manage to create any new costumes, would you be open for hiring again?
Oh no! Hope it wasn't anything too serious and that you're alright. But it'd be great if you did manage to make it next year, and I would indeed be available for for shoots! My policy for cons nowadays is pretty much "give me a call when you're walking around in costume," so I'm pretty free as far as scheduling goes.
